Project challenge

A seasonal festival at one of Seoul's best-known public walkways needed lit displays that could be built and struck around a live pedestrian route, in winter, without permanent structures on the waterside.

MCVISUAL solution

Outdoor rental cabinets were rigged along the stream and into the festival structures, using quick-lock touring hardware and outdoor-rated panels so the whole layout could be assembled, adjusted on site and removed after the event.

Installed result

The installation ran through the festival period in a heavily photographed public location, and every element was removed afterwards leaving the walkway as it was.
