Rental & Stage LED Display

Fast-lock, lightweight rental LED panels for stages, events, touring and XR virtual production.

Selection Guide

How to choose rental & stage LED displays

Rental LED panels earn money by moving between shows. They must assemble quickly, stay flat after repeated transport and remain serviceable under time pressure. Cabinet weight, locks, handles, corner protection and hot-swap components are therefore commercial features: every minute saved during load-in and every avoided damaged module protects the rental company's margin.

The right inventory also depends on the event mix. Indoor corporate work values fine pitch and quiet operation; outdoor concerts need weather protection and higher brightness; broadcast and XR stages require camera-ready refresh, scan and colour performance. One cabinet family can cover several formats when half-size panels, curve locks and compatible hanging hardware are planned together.

Build a useful inventory system

Choose 500 × 500 mm, 500 × 1000 mm or mixed cabinets based on the wall sizes you quote most often. Confirm that locks, power boxes, receiving cards and hanging bars remain compatible across the planned inventory.

Protect panels in real handling

Check corner guards, module edge protection, handle positions and flight-case density. A beautiful cabinet that chips LEDs during every load-in will cost more than a slightly heavier design with practical protection.

Match the camera requirement

For filmed events, ask about refresh rate, scan mode, shutter compatibility, grayscale at low brightness and calibration workflow. A headline refresh number alone does not guarantee a clean camera image.

Test the inventory as a working fleet

Factory acceptance should assemble the cabinet combinations you actually plan to rent: standard wall, mixed-height wall, curve and corner if ordered. Technicians should operate every lock, remove modules and power boxes, load configuration files and run the wall at the camera settings used by your market. Count hanging bars, stacking hardware, power jumpers, signal cables, flight cases and spares against the packing list. Photograph case layouts and label cable groups. A fleet is ready when a crew can build it from the documentation, not merely when individual cabinets light up.

Frequently asked questions

Can rental panels be installed permanently?

Yes, especially in venues that reconfigure stages or may move the screen later. A fixed platform is usually more economical when the screen will never move, but rental cabinets add flexibility and resale value.

Which pixel pitch is most versatile for events?

The answer depends on audience distance and market positioning. P2.6–P3.9 covers many corporate and stage applications, while larger outdoor audiences may justify a wider pitch. Build inventory around the jobs you actually quote.

How many spare modules should be ordered?

The ratio depends on fleet size, tour intensity and service location. A practical package normally includes calibrated spare modules plus key power and receiving components so a show is never waiting for international freight.
