Project challenge
An immersive room needs a continuous concave surface with no visible seam or facet, at a pixel pitch fine enough for visitors standing close to it. Curved builds also carry a site risk: if the arc is only ever assembled at the venue, the first time anyone sees whether it closes correctly is on the customer's floor.
MCVISUAL solution
A 9600 × 2080 mm screen was built from P1.53 flexible modules, which bend to the designed radius instead of stepping it, and the complete curve was erected on the factory floor and run with panoramic content before any of it was crated.
Installed result
Geometry, seams, colour and uniformity were signed off across the whole arc while it was still in the workshop, so the site crew reassembled a wall that had already been proven rather than discovering its behaviour on site.
