Project challenge
A traffic information screen is read at speed, from a moving vehicle, in whatever weather the road is having. It has to be legible against low winter sun on the approach and against darkness at the tunnel mouth, and it cannot be taken offline for routine service without closing a lane.
MCVISUAL solution
A 4800 × 3840 mm P10 screen was built for gantry mounting with outdoor brightness that tracks ambient light, sealed cabinets for a roadside environment, and a service arrangement that lets modules be reached without dismantling the mounting structure.
Installed result
Drivers get the message at approach distance in both daylight and darkness, and the screen sits on the gantry as a serviceable unit rather than a sealed box that has to come down to be repaired.
